There is no denying that weight and body image are a major issue in modern society.? We are inundated with the message that being overweight is a bad thing, from an early age through television, magazines, and other outlets.? We all know that obesity is a significant health problem.? As if that weren’t bad enough, we are also constantly bombarded with images of the “perfect body type” that can instill feelings of inadequacy and depression.
It is obvious:? being overweight is bad for your health (both physical and emotional).? When you are overweight you just don’t feel as good as you could – as good as you want to.?
